Recognized for its dedication to our Centre-Loire terroirs and wines, our ‘Auberge Joseph MELLOT’ (traditional country restaurant?) has been an Epicurean Venue for more than 130 years.
In its timeless traditional atmosphere, the Restaurant Menu still includes some historic and typical favorite dishes such as the ‘Winemaker’s Terrine” and the ‘Sancerre-Vine Smoked Ham Omelet’. Overall, everything is prepared with fresh and local products.
Although the oldest restaurant in Sancerre, our ‘Auberge Joseph MELLOT’ reinvented itself thanks to Jean-Philippe BEDU, our energetic and inspired Chef, who renewed its classic dishes with a modern and refined touch.
